Historians credit his creation variously to writer-artist Bill Everett and art director Lloyd Jacquet, although some credit may be due to Grace Everett, who helped with research. In 1914, an orphaned child named John Aman was chosen by the Tibetan Council of Seven and trained to be a superman, both in mental and physical perfection. His powers include super strength, invulnerability and the ability to make himself disappear in a cloud of green vapor. When he turned twenty-five, after his final tests, he is sent into the world to combat crime and injustice, returning to America to become the heroic Amazing Man and his continuing battles with arch-enemy 'The Great Question'! Collects Amazing Man #20-26 (February 1941-January 1942) and Stars and Stripes #2-6 (May-December 1941).

PS Artbooks presents Billy the Kid Volume 1, with all the fictional Western stories based on the historical character Billy the Kid published by Charlton Comics. The Billy the Kid character made his first appearance in Masked Raider - Billy the Kid - Western Outlaw #6-8 (February-July 1957). With regular backup features included Bounty Hunter Shawn O'Meara, Tenderfoot Sheriff John Lind, Mr. Young of the Boothill Gazette, and Apache Red. Then taking over the numbering of Masked Raider, with Billy the Kid: Western Outlaw #9 (November 1957) and running for another 147 issues until its eventual demise in issue #153 March 1983. Collects Masked Rider #6-8 (February-July 1957) and Billy the Kid #9-10 (November-December 1957).
